The City of Reedley's Development Review team consists of the Planning, Building, Engineering, Public Works, Police, Fire, and Community Services Departments, who are available to review preliminary projects within City boundaries at no cost. They can answer initial questions and generate feedback and insight on proposed projects.

A written comment letter can be provided upon request that includes information such as application fees, submittal requirements, process timelines, infrastructure availability, and general conditions of approval if an application is submitted. This Preliminary Development Review process provides interested parties with one point of contact and the ability to receive feedback on projects before an official application is submitted.
